The Secondary School Curriculum: Content, Relevance and Adequacy

Abstract

This paper however re-affirm the relevance and adequacy of the secondary school curriculum in policy documents, but which has failed to achieve its intended objectives due to incessant failure to achieve success in turning policy document into an operating curriculum during the implementation process. The paper therefore, draws the attention of government and other stakeholders in education to address this as a matter of urgency to enhance our implementation process, if we are to achieve any success in our educational system as a nation.
